healthy, highly efficient, and sustainable

Our facility is in the amazing town of Boulder, Colorado. We have been here for over 30 years and still love it as much as the day we moved here from Northern California. We have built our own facility on land we own. We have made it as tight as we can, meaning R20 walls and a R40 ceiling to keep the building warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. We have installed in-floor radiant heat because it uses much less energy and can be run on solar electricity. We have also installed HVAC systems that use outside air if it is cooler than the air temperature inside. Our facility is regularly monitored for energy and sustainability improvements, helping us reduce our environmental impact and carry out our commitment to protect the planet.

Responsible practices

LED Lighting

High efficiency LED lighting is used throughout or building.

Occupancy Sensors

We use occupancy sensors to limit energy usage when a room is not in use.

Water Recirculation

Our hot water recirculating line allows us to use water heaters less frequently.

Solar Energy

We're powered 100+% by solar energy!

Efficient HVAC

All of our HVAC systems are equipped with economizers & ionizers, which further reduces our energy consumption

Floor-Ceiling Windows

Floor to ceiling windows in our common areas allow for natural sunlight!

composting

As a waste-free facility, compost bins are located throughout for food waste.

Skylights

Our building utilizes over 10 skylights for additional natural light.

Insulation

We've increased the R-Value of our facility to optimize insulation.
