Introducing: Drunken Noodles with Chicken
Introducing… Drunken Noodles with Chicken
One of our most popular meals is a Thai staple- why not add another to the mix?
A hot bowl (or pouch!) of our Drunken Noodles with Chicken is the perfect way to warm up after a big day out and let your taste buds get in on the adventure.
This freeze-dried camping meal features traditional wide rice noodles sourced straight from Thailand tossed with chicken, broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot. Our authentic sweet and spicy tamari and brown sugar sauce will transport your taste buds straight to the streets of Thailand. Note flavors of lemongrass, lime, and cilantro as well.
The Ingredients
1. Rice Noodles: Traditional Thai rice noodles are naturally gluten-free, making this dish perfect for adventurers with gluten allergies or sensitivities. They also provide a great source of complex carbohydrates to keep your energy levels sustained and even throughout the day.
2. White Meat Chicken: Chicken is rich in protein, which is essential for building and repairing tissues and muscles after a long day of exercise. It also contains essential amino acids that support muscle growth, repair, and maintenance.
3. Veggies: Our Drunken Noodles with Chicken is packed full of broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrots- or should we say vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants? This colorful dish will not only fuel your adventures, but also help you get your veggies in, which can often be difficult on trail.
4. Tamari and other traditional flavors: We’ve stayed true to the traditional sweet and spicy tamari sauce typically found in this dish in order to bring you the most authentic trail dining experience possible. This is furthered by the addition of lemongrass, lime, cilantro, and jalapeno.
Spice Up Your Pack!
Trying foods inspired by global flavors can be as exciting an adventure as backpacking the PCT or whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon… and there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to experience both at the same time! Our Drunken Noodles with Chicken is not only delicious and filling, but also serves as a reminder that every part of your journey- including mealtimes- should be a new adventure.
