We didn't know what to think when we took it out of the pouch. Interesting texture, almost chalk like and snappy when you take a bite. But then the flavor hits you and it begins to soften in your mouth. It's a keeper for our adventures and even comes grandson approved!

I purchased both, the Vanilla and the Neapolitan Ice cream sandwiches .
I enjoyed the Vanilla and would purchase it again .
The Neapolitan was just so-so and I wouldn't purchase it gain .
BUT my taste buds are different from yours, so do what is best for you .
I'm not a chocolate fan, perhaps that influenced my decision ?
I'd give the Vanilla 5 stars .
I'd give the Neapolitan 1 star .
I first ate something similar years ago when my grandpa went to NASA and brought me back astronaut ice cream to try. It’s fun to try and give out on the trail to kids for a easy and fun treat worth talking about. A bit chalky, but hey, it’s dehydrated ice cream.
