For freeze dried it doesn't get much better
Not bad. Not bad at all.

Perfect!
Packed this and several other BP meals for a section hike on the AT. This was amazing! Only thing lacking was a bit more heat but still delicious. This meal is technically made for 2 but it was so good I ate the entire bag for dinner after a 14 miler. Kept me satisfied well I to the morning and fueled me for a fasted early am trek. Great ounce to nutrient ratio!

Flavorful
Using as emergency food, found the meal excitingly complex and flavorful...not enough to eat on the regular, but will be welcome in a disaster and much more tasty than other bean and rice camping meals
Delicious!
This is my new favorite backpacking meal! Oh my word. With a little extra salt and lime it is 10000/10. I disagree with the reviews stating that the banana is too strong. Neither my boyfriend or myself could taste banana at all. Maybe just a *hint* of general sweetness. I'm going to order 20 more.
My favorite!
This is my favorite Backpacker's Pantry meal. I start to crave it when the hike is almost done. It's mostly a salty dish with a few small hints of banana when you get a bit of plantain. The coconut flavor is also subtle. It's plenty filling, even though there is no meat. I recommend try one before you pack a bunch of it, though, some of my friends did not care for this one. I grew up in the tropics so these flavors were familiar to me. I traded my other meals for their extra Cuban coconut rice, I didn't mind eating it several nights.
