Instant Dried Rice Noodles (Rice Flour), Peanut Butter (Peanuts, Sugar, Palm Oil, Salt), Roasted Peanuts, Tomato Powder, Dried Red Bell Pepper, Cane Sugar, White Vinegar Powder (Maltodextrin, White Distilled Vinegar), Dried Green Onion, Yeast Flakes (Dried Yeast, Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamin Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin), Dehydrated Garlic, Crystallized Lime (Citric Acid, Lime Oil, Lime Juice Concentrate), Paprika, Sea Salt, Dried Green Jalapeno Powder, Dried Cilantro, Crushed Red Pepper, Dehydrated Garlic Powder.

1. Remove and discard oxygen absorber.
2. Remove peanut butter and peanut packet. Add peanut butter into pouch.
3. Add 1 3⁄4 cups (420mL) of boiling water.
4. Stir well, seal pouch, wait 8 minutes.
5. Stir again, reseal, wait 7 more minutes.
6. Sprinkle peanuts over meal. Enjoy!

Great backpacking meal! We often get the one with chicken as it has more protein but enjoyed this one on a recent trip with vegetarian friends. We added some peanut butter which was a great addition, not only added protein and complementary flavor, but helped to mellow out the spice a bit!

I’m open minded about things. As a chef, I don’t expect perfection in freeze dried meals. That being said, your pad Thai is the stuff of nightmares. You can definitely do better. Gross

Expired peanut butter

The outside package stated the expiration date was 06/2026, but the peanut butter package inside said the expiration was 02/2025. I opened this July 2025. So I couldn’t use the peanut butter for fear of contacting food- borne illness. I’m sure it goes against some sort of FDA regulation to have an ingredient inside the main package expire before the printed expiration date on the outside. Now I’m worried that all of my Pad Thai packages are the same…..

About a year ago, we had a test done on our suppliers peanut butter and we were able to extend the shelf life an extra year (4 years total). You can add a year to the best buy date and it should match perfectly. We are currently going through our peanut butter now and will have updated expirations that match the packaging soon.
