Quite good...

I bought these not for backpacking but for long term emergency food storage, but I failed to inspect the "best buy" date. They were only rated for 5 years which was 6 years ago. So I decided to not let them go to waste and I have been eating my way through them. I had the thai something or other, the lentil soup, a meat and pasta dish (forgot what it was and I have a lot more to go, but so far so good. I tend to have to let them sit a little longer than the instructions, but once rehudrated they are qyuite tasty. I have not tried thedesserts and I probably should have waited to post this but I didn't want to forget. Now the 3-day meal box is TOTALLY different now than what I was sold, but again...food was all good for over a year pas tthe "best buy" date. If they sold more 15-20 year boxed I would probably be a more repeat customer....but for camping and backpacking I would also still buy from them!
