Haven’t started on the current order, but have enjoyed in the past. Perfect high-calorie quick start trail breakfast. Delicious, as well.

This is my go-to breakfast while in the backcountry.

Not bad granola, just no banana flavor at all.

Hi J D, thanks for your feedback! We'll look into enhancing the banana flavor to make it more noticeable. We appreciate your input!

Perfect Breakfast before Backpacking

My goto breakfast for backpacking. I alternate blueberry and banana. Delicious cold, so no need to waste time with a stove. Highly recommended!

Great!

I normally hate breakfast food, but this is awesome. Haven't tried it hot, but it's so good with cold water I don't even want to. :)

Hey Hazel!

Glad to hear you enjoyed our meal! Have fun out there!

Tasty and nanner-ific

Good taste especially if you like bananas. Rich and creamy milk helps fill you up. Good with hot or cold water. Almost too much for 1 person if you’re like me!

Tasty

Chunks of granola and bananas were good. The milk and coconut flavoring was a little overpowering and made it a bit too sweet. Not bad though.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review! Be sure to check out our other breakfast products- we have some great savory options as well!

Nice flavor, lightweight for calories

Enjoyed the taste, kinda tropical. I enjoyed the calories to weight ratio for lightweight packing, packs in the energy. Repackaged right before trip into sandwich size ziplocks and rehydrated directly in my Jetboil.

Extremely Unhealthy Item - Probably Tastes Great

I haven't tried it yet, but I wish I had checked the nutrition facts before purchasing. With 620 calories, this item has 17 grams of saturated fat (87% of DV). Even though it sounds like this would be reasonably healthy from the meal name, it's easily the most unhealthy backpacking meal I've ever purchased on both and absolute and per calorie basis. This item should probably be reworked to be less outrageously unhealthy or at least have a warning on the shopping page about the extremely high amount of butter in this meal.

Love the other meals I purchased here, good nutritional balance in most of the others.

Best granola, period.

Hands down, the best granola I've ever had, freeze-dried or otherwise. Creamy, amazingly flavorful and satisfying. The best breakfast I've had in a very long time.

Rich and filling breakfast

This granola is particularly good if you pour in hot water! It’s quite rich and filling as a breakfast- I shared this with one other person and we were both satisfied.

That's a great food hack, Gabrielle! Thanks for your feedback.

Probably one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted

We used hot water and the granola ended up being a gray water soup with butter granola chunks and mushy balls of banana. It tasted like extreme fake butter with granola flakes and a hint of old banana which was nearly impossible to stomach. Similar taste to sweetened condensed milk. My husband ended up chugging most of it and about 40 minutes later nearly pooped himself on the trail. (It was a close call, he had to use a rock to lean on to support himself as the slush evacuated from his body.) My guts were not right the entire hike as well. Bottom line is that this is just unfortunately awful beyond all reason. Will stick with the delicious dinner foods moving forward.
