1. Remove and discard oxygen absorber.
2. Add 2 cups (480mL) of boiling water.
3. Stir well, seal pouch, wait 8 minutes.
4. Stir again, reseal, wait 7 more minutes. Enjoy!

Legitimately our favorite backpacking meal! We now always pack Santa Fe chicken and rice for at least 1 meal every trip and it has not let us down. Continually tastes great, has lots of protein, and produces a good texture.

Overall they did great considering my large order but I did receive a six pack of another item that I didn’t want initially. I can still use it but will need to replace it!

Super tasty, high protein
Brought these out for a training event and it was waaaaaay better than MREs. Super easy to make and very good. A lot of the guys were asking about it the whole time.

Wasn’t spicy at all, didn’t make me thirsty after, smells fantastic.
It took me less than 15 minutes to cook but I was below 5000 feet so it makes sense.
