Precooked Long Grain White Rice, Freeze-Dried Cooked White Meat Chicken, Dried Parmesan Cheese (Parmesan Cheese (Cultured Part-Skim Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Disodium Phosphate), Powdered Whole Milk Solids, Potato Starch, Dried Mushroom, Dried Roasted Garlic, Dried Tomato, Apple Cider Vinegar Powder (Maltodextrin, Apple Cider Vinegar, Modified Food Starch), Sea Salt, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Butter Powder (Butter (Sweet Cream, Salt, Annatto (Color)), Nonfat Milk Solids, Sodium Caseinate, Disodium Phosphate), Parsley, Ground Black Pepper, Thyme, Basil.

1. Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber.
2. Add 1 3/4 cups (420mL) of boiling water.
3. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 8 minutes.
4. Stir again, reseal, wait 7 more minutes. Enjoy!

Favorite meal purchased for my trip

This was the my favorite meal from BP on this trip. Great flavor and consistency when I followed the directions. I find BP take a little more water than some brands but it wasn’t a limited supply for me on this trip. They also tend to need 15 min to rehydrate and not ten. They are done at 15 min and I don’t add time like I do with 10 min packs.

best tasting freeze dried meals

The Risotto & Chicken is one of the best tasting freeze dried meals. The pouches are convenient and easy to pack. I just ordered a few more for my next hiking trip.

A comforting fall classic!

Fab food

Thoroughly enjoyed this risotto meal. Very flavourful and delicious. Lots of food in the package. Will purchase again.

Hot or cold a solid meal!

Probably my favorite entre. I do recommend hot of course however had this meal on me on a hike up a 13er. Made camp to realize we had no way to heat our water. Let it hydrate in some fresh mountain lake water for a couple hours and BAM! Lord have mercy if this cold delicious meal wasn't everything I needed. If you're thinkin bout One, buy Six ;)

I was really impressed with the taste of this freeze dried Risotto with Chicken. Took on hunting trip and it was really filling. I figured I would demolish the entire bag myself but I wasn't able to. Next time I'll share.
