My new school lunch!
This is not for backpacking only. I enjoy the Pad Thai so much that I bring it in to work for lunch!

the best
This is my absolute favorite backpacking meal of any brand vegan or not. Im allergic to all things even resembling milk so this is a perfect item, and wile not vegan myself its great to pack for thoes who are. It is so good in fact that I have made a point the last few years to set aside a pack for my birthday camping trip (yup even good in December).

Yum!
Awesome. Zesty and spicy. A go-to meal for us.

Great food and Customer Service
My Son has Celiacs disease so I have to be careful of what he eats, especially while camping on the go. Backpackers Pantry has a wide variety meals for him that he likes to eat and are easy to prepare. Everyone else in my family thought the meals were good quality and delicious. I do have an issue with receiving a set of Mac and Cheese meals (with Gluten) that I did not order, and backpackers pantry sent me the correct Pad Thai (Gluten Free) order free of charge. I will definitely use them when I go backpacking in the future.

If I had to pick one, this is it!
Of all the backpacking meals I've tried (of varying brands), if I had to pick one that was my favorite, this is it! After a long day of trekking, I look forward to eating this every time. The flavor is robust, and to me, it's comforting. I love it so much that I even order extras to enjoy at home.

Pad Thai
Outstanding! Really hit the spot after a 16 mile day.

Yumalicious
Easy to prepare, all in one less-is-more pouch, great on the highway as well as on the mountainside and tasty to boot! Five Star Dining taste, customizable to each participant. Winner winner Pad Thai dinner, sometimes we even eat it at home!
It's okay...
It's decent. It'd be better with more peanut butter. Recommend amount of water seemed good. Everything rehydrated well. The amount of food was perfect. My boyfriend and I just thought it tasted very heavily of fresh tomato. All in all not bad but I probably won't choose it again.
Another five star review
Going to chime in here with all the other reviewers to award this meal with a five star rating. Simply delicious and one of the best freeze dried meals I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The peanut butter, sriracha and crunchy peanuts all combine with the other ingredients to make an authentic tasting Thai meal. Went back to Cabelas for more but they were sold out. But they did have the pad Thai with chicken so I bought some of that. Can’t wait until my next trip.
Must have...
This meal I feel in love with. Rehydrates nicely. Plenty of food. Plenty of protein. I can’t brag this one up enough. Tastes so good. A little messy with a small spoon like a Spork. A little spicy so fair warning. You will not be hungry after eating one of these. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try it.
One of my favorite dehydrated meals
It’s not surprising that this one has been BP’s best-selling entrée since before I started hiking. The two servings of rice noodles are actually made in Thailand and added to authentic spices, herbs, vegetables, garlic, and peanut butter right here in the US. With 18 grams of protein per serving from organic non-GMO soy protein, this spicy carb-load is a robust addition to a night in the wilderness. They even include extra roasted peanuts, additional lime, and Sriracha to top it all off. Dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan, the “big brand” behind this bold dish knows what they are doing and it shows. It was so good, it made it to my blog on my favorite dehydrated meals! 10 out of 10 would eat again
I've always said that freeze-dried food is ok for when your backpacking but boy this one was phenomenal! I don't think I'll ever do another overnight without this in my pack!
What the heck, it's actually delicious!
Really, really flavorful, the peanuts and peanut butter pkt and noodles and spices, great combo of ingredients. I added a pkt of Wendy's hot sauce because I'm a spicy guy, and it was off to the races. Thanks for restoring my faith in trail meals that are meatless.
personal favorite
I love this meal! did a month long trip through the mountains of Colorado and I wish I would of had a few more of these in my resupply boxes.
The best!
Nobody really expects bag meals to be actually good, even given Backpackers Pantry's stellar reccord. This Pad Thai is aweseome! Especailly when you use the included seasoing and sauce pacekts which make you feel like youre eating a normal* meal. It tastes great and is even better after a lot tough day.
