    Works well at getting food into my gullet. Silicone coating often catches lint, but a quick rub before use gets rid of most of it.

    So on the trail, I like to take a break and boil up some water for tea sometime during the day. The extra boiled water I pour into my GSI Microlite 710 that I’ve already added that day’s Backpackers Pantry meal to. That way when I get to that night’s campsite, a hot meal(fully hydrated) is already to eat, and I don’t have to fuss with cooking anything should it already be dark thirty. That’s where this GSI spoon shines, getting every last swipe of yummy out of the container, leaving nothing to clean. Pro tip, either wrap or stuff the Microlite in your pack for extra insulating.

    Food Doesn't Stick - Hooray!

    Huge Win! First use was with Three Cheese Mac & Cheese meal. Nothing stuck to spoon which makes cleaning super easy. Previously I used a Ti finessCity long handled spoon which was a problem to clean after any meal containing cheese. Long handle keeps food off fingers plus keeps dirty hands from contaminating food.

    This is not just a spoon. It is a spoon perfectly optimized to travel lite, function perfectly and at a ver reasonable price. Don’t get me wrong, I love Backpacher’s Pantry food, but the spoon, we’ll it is magnifico 😁

    Stinks.

    This spoon was canceled from my order but they charged me and shipped it any way. Like other reviews stated the spoon smells very strongly of petrochemicals and absorbs the odor of anything it touches. It went in the trash.
